This race will be held in Oshino village, at the foot of Mount Fuji in July. Oshino village’s famous “Oshino-Hakkai spring water” is designated as a national natural treasure, and its convenient location (70 min drive from Tokyo) attracts lots of tourists who travel far distances to enjoy the many shops and ryokans around Mount Fuji. Yamanashi 30K is a 2-day camp-style event, where you can enjoy the nature of Oshino village and the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji.
The 30km race will be held on the first day, and the trail running race will be held on the second day with its course running through mountains in the Oshino village. You can look over Lake Yamanaka, Mt. Fuji, and Oshino village from certain points on the course.
The 30K loop course provides pace makers and 10km split results for participants. Also water stations every 2.6km and food aids in the later course will be provided by local volunteers. The participant prize is the local specialty of Oshino village, don’t miss out! Post-race, you can enjoy the delicious world-renowned Oshino-Hakkai spring waters, the latest sightseeing spot ”Ninja village”, relaxing hot springs, or even climb Mount Fuji during its climbing season.
